Considering the environment is important to PREM. We actively invest in new technology, thereby also improving our environmental impact.
PREM’s responsibility is also reflected in the well-being and respect of employees and workplace safety.
PREM supports Finland’s carbon neutral target 2035
PREM has been sertified as a ClimateCalc-approved printing facility. ClimateCalc sertification requires annual inspections, where all necessary calculations are evaluated.
We are supporting Finland’s carbon neutral target 2035.
We are constantly developing our operations, reducing the environmental impact.

Real environmental actions
In order to lower our carbon footprint, we have made the following development steps in our operations:
- Company cars are fully electric or hybrid
- Clear packaging plastic is recycled
- Introduction of Kaukokiito Bio – ecological cargo service
The future goal is to reduce the carbon footprint per sheet every year. In 2027, we aim for 30% recycled raw material to be used in laminating films. We are discussing the introduction of products with a smaller carbon footprint with raw material suppliers.
